Le Pont des Arts is a famous footbridge in Paris, particularly popular with young lovers. It crosses from the Louvres to the Institut de France. I was trying to shoot it in a way that was different from all the classic shots.
Arman’s statue « L’Heure pour Tous », just outside Saint-Lazare train station in Paris is a constant subject of fascination to me. I have tried to capture it on photo many times, and this interpretation is the most interesting so far. I like how the pigeons nest there, oblivious to the fact that they live within art.
Whenever I travel for work, I always ask myself if taking the tripod along is really worth it. On this short trip to Shanghai, I was very glad I did. Shooting long-exposures of the Bund from the Pudong side was a blast!
