Shanghai’s Pudong, though not very representative of Shanghai is an impressive architectural mass, and seen from the Bund opposite it’s quite a photo opportunity. I did a whole series that evening, and will be publishing a few more in the coming weeks.
Chatting on the Stairs

As I was walking around Trinity College on this gorgeous sunny day last June, I saw these students chatting and reading textbooks on the stairs of one of the buildings, and despite the somewhat unseemly garbage bin I decided to shoot. I’m glad I did, there’s an interesting imbalance in the symmetry of the shot that I find quite appealing.

This is one of my favourite shots from a roll I took in early July in London. This is film, more specifically Fuji Pro 400 color film. I rarely do color film, but I really like that particular film and love the results.

On a beautiful winter day I walked with my sons to the Sacré Coeur in Montmartre and took a lateral shot which I quite like. i gave it an old timey processing without overdoing it for what I hope is an interesting but not too classic postcard look.
