*Circle of Lebanon*
At the top of Highgate Cemetary West, there’s a beautiful Lebanon Cedar Tree under which a circle of crypts were dug, hence the name, Circle of Lebanon. Quite spectacular place.
*Angels & Crosses*
Whenever my travels for work give me an opportunity to get away from it all, I try to grab it, as a compensation for the hours of flight and discomfort. I recently heard about Highgate Cemetary in London and I wanted to walk around there. I was lucky that on the day I went there, a few hours before my flight home, it had snowed and some of the snow remained. Anyway, the angel statues and the derelict state of the cemetary both appealed to me.

There is something soothing and peaceful about the Cimetière du Montparnasse, and I spent a few hours there last Saturday morning just walking around and trying to capture that softness through a wide open lens. This is one of the most interesting shots (I think).
