Fuji TX2 + Fuji Pro 400H
The smile of kids is a boon everywhere, and these kids in Luang Prabang seemed quite happy to be photographed, as kids often are (and more generally as people tend to be in South-East Asia.)

Walking the streets of Yaowarat towards the middle of the afternoon definitely felt like the calm before the storm. The streets were quiet, street food vendors were smiling and not very busy. A few hours later, once the sun set, it was an entirely different story with crowds of locals and tourists alike sampling the wares (although which tourist in his right mind would want to try durian, I’m not sure…)
*Confucius Temple Inside Out*

Confucius Temple in Shanghai is one of the religious edifices that moved me the most. I was lucky that I went there on a sunny and quiet day (apparently it can get really busy on weekends), and I particularly liked the contrast between the inside wood-pannelled parts and the outside paved courtyards. This is what this photo was attempting to capture.
