Lady in Red
Canon A2, 20mm, f/8, 1/1000, ISO 400
This is one of my favourite shots from a roll I took in early July in London. This is film, more specifically Fuji Pro 400 color film. I rarely do color film, but I really like that particular film and love the results.
Shot just outside a flea market in Rome’s Trastevere. The man came accross as both sad and proud when I asked if I could take his photo.
I thought it would be interesting to process this shot full of modern elements with an old print look (enhance by the use of the Lensbaby). Hence the paradox.
Rome is a street photographer’s paradise! There’s always something going on. And the backdrops are magnificent too!
Soap bubbles fascinate me. Whenever I cross one those street artists in Paris making giant soap bubbles, I have to try for shots. This one is my favourite so far.
