Chatting on the Stairs

As I was walking around Trinity College on this gorgeous sunny day last June, I saw these students chatting and reading textbooks on the stairs of one of the buildings, and despite the somewhat unseemly garbage bin I decided to shoot. I’m glad I did, there’s an interesting imbalance in the symmetry of the shot that I find quite appealing.
